My friend has this problem and I've tried to help him. -dxlevel 81 doesn't work, validate game files doesn't work, nor does defragmenting. Can anyone help us out? [editline]08:06PM[/editline] Reinstalling didn't work either.

Did you try cleaning add-ons and/or the whole garrysmod/garrysmod folder (rename/delete it and when you start the game it makes a new one)?
