Just recently wanted to play garrysmod again after about a year or so.
Long story short I cannot spawn any props, vehicles or NPC's. Colour, material tools work. I've reinstalled Gmod but that hasn't fixed anything.
Specially when I press Q to bring up the menu and I click on a prop it does not get spawned. Tried it in single player, LAN multiplayer and in internet multiplayer but no matter what I cannot spawn anything.

To expand a bit more, I also cannot change settings in the context menu in many of the tools. Specifically I cannot change my player model, cannot change the lamp type, etc.
