First of all, for some reason, I have a crosshair on most of my guns, but not my tool gun. I thought I had one before. So correct if I'm wrong, but I think the tool gun is supposed to have a crosshair. Secondly, for some reason when I use certain guns or get in a vehicle, then go into third person, my player is invisible. I can't see it. But when I switch guns or get out of the vehicle it reappears again. I would really appreciate help, these glitches are getting annoying. Thanks in advance!
Bumped because it was on the third page and I really could use some help.
Ok. Your first problem just download a crosshair pack off of www.garrysmod.org I recomend this one http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=43697 If not reinstall GMod. Second problem could be cause by missing files so I would reinstall GMod.

But yeh, it does sound like some form of file corruption, i'll suggest following Killer Pie's second advice and reinstall Gmod (backup your data folder, but not your addons since they may be to blame)
So I go to Steam, right-click Garry's Mod, and click "Back-up Game Files"? Wait never mind, so I should just make a back-up of my Garry's Mod folder, then uninstall it and reinstall it?
Make a backup of addons, maps, data and cfg, gamemodes. Or just delete any folder I didn't just specify.
Okay, I'll try backing up my stuff then reinstalling gmod.
There is another way, the problem is you are missing a picture file. Proberbly a vtf file because that is what GMod uses. So if you found out where it is saved can send you mine. If not I cvould find it now. Also I thought the custom crosshairs would come with the original so i wouldn't say it is painting over a rust car. It is replaceing the rusty bits!! :)
