In game sounds

Hey guys I recently bought a server and over the past few days we've been having wierd in game sounds an example would be if you swing the crowbar there is a very loud echo and this happens with all tools/weapons.

I cant seem to find any info on the web about how to disable or turn down the echo effects, if anyone could shed some light on my problem it'd be greatly appreciated.

Could you list addons installed onto the server?

Remove all your addons (Or disable by renaming the info.txt) and see if you still get it.

If not, start adding addons back 5 at a time and restarting then joining, until you find the 5 which are the problem. Remove one at a time, restart and rejoin until you single it out.

Something makes me think its the Youtube player! That thing transmits sounds all over the map!

Yes we found out that while a few of us were using Teamspeak while on the server it caused the wierd echo we got around it by starting / joining the server before we opened up TS :) that seemed to do the job.
