Right, so, this is a help thread on behalf of my friend, who is not a member on here.
The problem is such: There are certain props which upon being spawned will turn up as invisible.
models/props_wasteland/controlroom_desk001a.mdl models/props_wasteland/controlroom_desk001b.mdl
models/props_vehicles/tanker001a.mdl
The rocks on GM_atomic, which iirc are coast rocks from vanilla HL2
He's sure that there are more props, but he hasn't had time to check through all of them.
He has also validated and revalidated and defragged Gmod, HL2 and all episodes, and has extracted the necessary files from the GCF (this last one only temporarily fixed the problem).
Also, when the props are spawned, it isn't accompanied by console errors. So this rules out the problem with a missing model file, as the console would have flared up.
Does anyone have any idea what might be up?
