Hello, I'm working on a community map and I heard that you could edit the map in Gmod and then export it to Hammer, the thing is, Gmod doesnt recognize the commands for it, for example:
wc_create
wc_destroy
It only recognizes the map_edit command.
I think it would be good re-add this function to Gmod since I think Gmod 9 had it.
Use VMFmodelwriter.
wc_create and wc_destroy are not coming back.
And if you want to go hifistic, use crontab to backup modified VMFmodelwrite's with xx-minute interval and make a lua script to announce that you are automaticly backupping.
