I have been looking around for this for a while and no one seems to have the same problem. Whenever I play a Half-Life 2 map on Gmod, the npc's are unkillable. I can make my own npc's, and I can kill then, but not the ones that are already in the map. Does anyone know why this might be?? Please respond.
Well the reason why the npc's are unkillable is the fact that their health is frozen if you get an addon like npc hpbar. You may notice that no matter how much damage you deal to the npc they stay unharmed.Well, There are actually ways you can harm evaporate or kill them. If you want to harm them use an addon like the rick roll device it instantly saps their health to an extent but doesn't kill them, due to their frozen health. Now if you want to kill them use an addon like the tranquillizer it instantly turns them into a ragdoll. If you want them evaporated just use your toolgun to remove them or use your pulse rifle alts till they evaporate.
I'm sorry, but I don't have any mods like that, at least to my knowledge. If there are any more could you please tell me the names of them? And I really don't want to have to kill them that way. I would like it to go back to normal. Please anyone have any other ideas?
Maybe their is something in console you could type, that makes the npcs spawn with -1 health. That might unfreeze it if SpartinKeiner was right about their health freezing.
Does anyone know this console command? I would have no idea where to look.

OK, I know I sound stupid but I cannot find it anywhere. And even if I did this doesn't sound like a permanent fix. I want it so I can always kill all NPCs no matter where they come from, just like it was when I first got the game. Does anyone know any mods that could accidentally freeze the health?? I really just want to fix this simply, not through console commands. I'm sorry I'm being picky but... OK I have nothing but you know what I mean!
start disabling mods from the main menu until it works?
And again I feel stupid. How do I disable them from the main menu? Do I have to take them out of my addons folder? Sorry that's the only way I know how :P.
click on extensions and un-check them. May or may not work never tried it.
Well, I don't see any way to uncheck the addons. Only the content from other games. I guess I could clean my GMod and then one by one add the addons I want, but I really wish someone else had the same problem so I could just easily fix it. I'll wait till tomorrow and then try the cleaning thing. Please help!
