The problem is that there are many people who are willing to exploit people like that. So it really isn't hard to believe
They make money anyways so who cares if a few people use leaked versions here and there.

You price your addons extremely high for what you are selling and then update them once every 3 months, how are you not surprised people pirate your stuff. For example your leaderboards and achievements scripts both lack modularity to add more options and MySQL support after months of people complaining, yet they are priced nearly as much as addons such as kmapvote.
In a sense when I found out that my Matter Transferer SWEP was set up on a pirate website, I felt actually somewhat flattered. It meant that people apparently liked it enough to release it and want to use it. The funny side effect was that it caused more people to purchase it in return, causing a spike for a couple days.
In my opinion, if people like the script enough and the price, then they'll take the time to go and purchase the addon to support the dev. This will give them a better piece of mind and more of a say to suggestions of the addon. My weapon being only $3.50 I think led to people going and purchasing it even though it was leaked because it wasn't too steep and it was a fully functional weapon.

Phoenixf129 has generally said the same thing to me. His suggestion was that if your product gets leaked, it should inspire you to update it and add even more to it, so the leaked version is old and missing content.
7 of those updates were bug fixes, also why does your achievement addons have MySQL support but not your leaderboards, if anything leaderboards need it more.

Also by modular I don't mean moving stuff around and changing colors, I mean like adding leaderboard section or achiever without needing to know a lot of lua.
Cut him some slack, he's doing what the majority of people who use leaks wouldn't dare to and actually posting a thread on here about how sorry he is and promising to buy the addons.
I have already bought handsome matts achievement system and you know what its great and modular so for one leave him alone about it 2 stop fighting on my thread ok.
