Ok, seriously now. I assume I've missed some big scenario during which everybody noticed how to remove the ugly 2d grass, so...
How the hell do I remove that ugly 2d grass that ruins all my screenshots?
Removing grass would mean editing the map, or deleting the texture, which is in a gcf.
Unless you become the first person that figures out how to alter .gcf files, then you're either going to have to edit the map or put up with "that ugly 2d grass"
That or you can download a HI-Res grass texture
Or, find the texture in the .gcf, and make an empty texture with the same name in the same directory in gmod
