You are running on Direct X 7.0.... Not supported, and very old.
You need a new graphics card, or computer...
(This used to happen to me.)
You are just so gay that your props reflect you.

Sadly, you cannot download a new graphics card. If you've ever opened your coputer, it's that second largest plate in the computer. It's sticking out from your motherboard (the largest one).
Your graphics card handles all the visual susplendors you get when playing games. Over time games have better visuals and graphics, and older cards can't keep up with them.
Consider upgrading or buying a new computer, if you're down at Dx7 you will need a new graphics card, but possibly a totally new computer since I doubt your computer is up-to-date.
To compare: I am running Dx11, and more and more games are starting to use this. Gaming is expensive at times.
If you are going to buy a new computer, it's best that you contact a tech-savvy person you know to assist you in deciding what would be best for you. Don't just run to a store and buy the shiniest pc, you will end up with alienware or something like that.

Remember, Win XP uses about half the amount of RAM Vista and Windows 7 use. You would be surprised with how little RAM you can get by with on XP.

Next Step: Get Windows 7. Or atleast Windows XP. No offence, But Vista is the worst OS I ever saw, even worse than macOS.
You're running Vista on 1 gig? Yikes! But yeah, I'd upgrade to windows 7 ASAP. Vista's very poor at handling resources properly. I am assuming Thurax is referring to the black and white macOS from the Apple II, because that's a fair comparison to vista.
