I tried going into the garrysmod multiplayer tab in options and uploading it from there, but I could not find the file because it was a .GIF file and it does not like GIF files
I then split the frames and converted it into a .vtf file and saved it in the garrysmod/garrysmod folder, then tried to set the file as my spray, but nothing happened. (I even added a .vmt file for it)
I then converted the .vtf file to a .tga file and tried uploading it from garrysmod/garrysmod, It said [TGA does not support this file, it only supports 32-bit RGBA and 64-bit RGB] or something like that.
I tried looking for videos and help threads in the steam user forums, but it only showed how to put 1-frame files as your spray.
Thanks in advance.
If I'm missing any additional info, please let me know.
As far as I heard, you need to create the gif into a tga, and then convert it into a vtf, never tried it though.
Btw, here's a tut for tf2, I bet that you can do it for gmod too.

Ah, thank you, it worked. Turns out the filesize was too big. I just had to downgrade it.
