Note:
To avoid being confused I refer to the 12 - 13 year old as "boy"
I refer to the 10 year old as "kid"
Well this boy who is like 12 or 13 complains so much and always wants "admin" or "moderator" on my server. Hes an idiot generally and has no idea how to administrate or moderate. Anyway he joined a server and the kid who owned it sounded atleast 10 seriously! I mean, this kid probably doesn't even know the meaning of a ddos. And by the looks of it neither does the boy who claims to have dos'd him back... So this boy was butthurt because the 10 year old de-ranked him and banned him for obvious reasons I could understand because I had the same problems with the boy and apparently then this 10 year old kid allegedly dos'd him for no apparent reason? And without evidence this boy who was butthurt because hes not an admin dos'd him back.
Conclusion:
Kids have no idea what they are doing 90% of the time when it comes to servers.
The majority of 12-13 year olds get to a stage where they think they can take down the FBI with their so called "DDos or DOs Powers"
Most of them use a shitty cheap booter to "attack" the victim for about 3 minutes and stop them from watching their favourite videos in 1080p and rather 720p for 3 minutes till they're booter is finished with their money.
I dont know what it is but kids seem to crave the title "Admin" or "moderator" it makes them feel very special for some reason and if you remove it from them prepare for life threatening consequences.

Further below was the discussion about him and his BlackHat Hacker friend used their specially equipped skills to remotely and anonymously use their favorite booter to ddos a 10 year old who's parents are probably very upset because they're router must of blown up with the amount of ping it was receiving.
Really, just distance yourself from children altogether. I make it a rule not to speak to people under 14 online.

This mindset is a reason why all the good kids dont go on videogames. They are afraid that they'll instantly be shouted 'SQUEAKER' and get permabanned. I saw some 10 year old kids who were more mature then 99 percent of gmod.
It is possible, but distance yourself from people who are obviously 12, but act like there 1 year olds.
I guess the parents have to decide whether their child is mature enough to play FPS games online... but then if the parents are not mature enough themselves, all bets are off.
I have no problems personally with kids online but when they start to think they can "hack" it just gets ridiculous
kids themselves are not the problem. I saw kids who were like 8 (and admitted to still being in elementary school) wisely lecturing screaming teenagers on why cursing is bad and the proper way to be friendly to everyone. I mean it is pretty rare, but not all kids are immature jerks, just as not all grownups are mature friends.

You don't speak with anyone online?
I just had 3 kids get on my server and saw that I was owner so they stopped RDMing and asked for staff.
They got perma banned.
You should have included the entire convo, shit like this is always entertaining.
Some kids have sent me TF2 items and try to become my best friend for admin. I just take their items and deny them :3

That kid probably has some good parents then. As a parent myself I teach my son proper online gaming etiquette. No one wants to play with anybody that is annoying regardless of age. If I ever get annoyed just by listening to him play, I'll tell him to stay off of chat or else he'll most likely get kick off the server.

No those "good kids" just dont talk on the mic.
When I was about 9 or 10, I was playing on Garry's Mod a lot and everybody said I was mature for my age and I was admin on at least 5 servers, plus most of my friends were a lot older [bring on the pedo jokes]
It's rare, but there are decent kids on Steam
No those "good kids" just dont talk on the mic.
Can confirm. I'm playing with a 12 year old a lot and he acts like any other mature person. He never uses his mic unless we're making some weird sounds.

I feel like it's mostly because people hear a kid's voice and instantly say "Fuck it" and then that's that. Or maybe because this generation is shown so much in the dark that nobody even tries to give them a chance anymore. I can understand that though, because most kids I meet now are complete fuckwads that I want nothing to do with
I do get annoyed by their voice once in a while, but that's because of the "Hey Admin! Admin?! Admin?! spam. It's pretty much the only reason I gag them next to the obvious mic spamming to annoy other players.
What me personally annoys the most, is kids being all helpful and active on the server and once they get staff ranks, they go inactive or on an abuse rampage.
Or the classic "admin to me" spam, which I completely ignore in any general case.

Or when you ask, "what is it" and they just continue on the admin come to me instead of telling a reason, and when you finally check what it is it just some bullshit like "Can i get this or this".
Or when you see a player yelling in chat "I CANT SPAWN NOTHING THIS SERVER SUCKS!!!"...
... Check the console ...
And the only entries about the yelling kid contain sweps and duplicator usage.

just ban them with the reason 'well then piss off' or 'learn2build' lol
I have a few younger regulars who are great TTT players
One of them even played his guitar over the mic for us a couple times, all-round charming little guy

Kids are usually fucking idiots, I was too. There are a few decent ones, and some great ones too, but they really don't need to be on mic chat, especially because most use microphones found on a shitty 15$ logitech headset from walmart. And even with a good mic.... eh... wait a couple years please.
I used to be the type of person who never minded kids in online games, even happy when they're polite, and found a lot of people who instantly act hostile to them really obnoxious
But now my patience is slowly draining and I just sort of sigh whenever I hear kids speak
One idea you can steal from noxiousnet is the ballpit, you can put players into "The ballpit", and all it does it make it so you can only talk to and hear other people who are in the ballpit.
This ballpit in particular

Never add anyone from your server
That same guy begged for admin on the server I play on

You have the humor of a 12 year old but combined with your editing and music I must say that I laughed more than I should have.
+1 for you.
"LethalSniper" holy fucking shit, when I see such names, I already faceplant my desk.
