Here is my story:
I turn on my laptop in 15-20sec, enter password;
windows loads in 1min/with all apps
Load on steam - 10sec
Launching garry's mod - 5-6mins
Loading workshop content 5-15mins [depends on how much new stuff i got, but it updates everything anyway]
Loading map for playing - 5-6mins
Looking for addon what I downloaded - 3mins
Spawning item - CRASH CRASH CRASH BANG BANG BANG!! KABOOOM, MY LAPTOP is on desktop again...
Lets take quickest time from windows - 10 + 300 + 300 + 180 = 13minutes with seconds.
I spend nearly a quad of hour just to enter the game if I am lucky
worst case is 35-40minutes.
WHATS wrong?
Im on windows 8
Hp pavilion with 8GB ram
I dont know how much GHZ i got.
1TB HDD
intel built in graphics card.
GRAPHICS ARE GOOD AND SMOOTH on best but WHY?
Should I delete all workshop content?
Is that the reason?
Well if you got >15min worth of workshop shit then that's probably your issue. That and you're trying to play on a crappy laptop. Also you probably have a bunch of shovelware/viruses running in the background.

Laptop is 2 months old
there is only steam, world of warcraft and league of legends.
Not a single picture, song, or movie is on it.
no utorrent, nothing! no downloads besides of steam, blizzard or riot
It's most likely your system specs, when you're in the Garry's Mod menu try to disable all the addons and see if performance increases.
