Gmod online wont work?

hi i have a problem with gmod 10 i cant go online it just keeps loading in the server menu i cant play tf2 or hl2 deatmatch online ether but i can play mods online just fine (zombie panic source) can some one help me gmod is good but without online i cant play good vr games and tf2 is nothing without online HELP ME

I got the same Problem. it seems, a recent valve update causes multiplayer problems for many players. My guess is, that your router is unsupported or it blocks network connection to the steam servers.

I already sent a mail to valve about the problem.
