I'm making half-assed & retarded question again :/ I've been trying to make a video lately, and I'm experiencing a problem with Source Recorder. I made my demo file, like before, then went to console and put host_framerate 30, startmovie [name] avi, choose xvid codecs, and playdemo [name]. playdemo [name] <---- This is the problem. When I press Enter, it goes to the loading screen with G-Logo on it. Then, it stops for a 30 seconds, and then, either there comes memory read error something like this: "The instruction at 0x13a3638d referenced memory at 0x10cab018 The memory could not be "read"" or either "hl2.exe has stopped working" Hardware Specs: Processor: AMD Sempton Processor 3400+, MMX, 3DNow, 1.8 GHz RAM: 2048MB Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition
[code]The instruction at 0x13a3638d referenced memory at 0x10cab018 The memory could not be "read"[/code] Means that the game has run out of usable memory, try turning down some settings or adding -dxlevel 81 to the start up options.
Playdemo [name] seems to work pretty well, but when startmovie [name] avi is before playdemo, it shows me that error. :p I'll try turning down video settings to the low status. E: Yeah, the cause of errors was XVID codecs, I used a different one, and it worked pretty well.
