It has come to my attention that in the recent time people started uploading passworded files on garrysmod.org because they only want to share it private, I think that should be a bannable offence because garrysmod.org was meant to be a platform to share with the community and not to become a private file sharing base, also passworded files could contain ANYTHING.

i totally agree with you. i think its dumb to upload things for a friend only when it is on a site for sharing between all users

I don't see how people can upload passworded shit. Exe, zip and rar files are automatically reported and hidden from the front page etc. And when I see them in the report queue I ban the uploader.

It's not a zip inside a zip..
People will always try to find ways to spam garrysmod.org with whatever they can it seems like. Since they can't do adv dupe, BGs, and saves anymore they're doing "from toybox" and passworded uploads (which aren't allowed) and 5 sec sweps. Garrysmod.org is getting better but theres still a long way to go.

Well they can still do pretty much anything and try to get away with it on garrysmod. The large Red and Yellow warning that pops up has no meaning to some users. They just see pretty colors and upload anyways.
For instance, searching "toybox" on the site brings up a couple of bad uploads such as:

and so forth.
When I mean by bad, I speak of the uploads that break the rules, I couldn't care less about how bad non rule breaking uploads are.
