I recentally put some portal files into garrys mod, and the menu wouldn't load, any ideas as to what may have caused this to happen, and anyways i could fix this?
What files, exactly, did you "put into Garry's Mod"?

Wait, are you saying you took everthing from the portal demo's folder, and copied it into garrysmod?
delete the garrysmod folder and startup garry's mod again. you won't have any addons though. backup your addons folder if you want to.

Great iddea, I'll give it a shot, what about the maps, models, materials, Etc. Wont those be needed?
If you have added maps, models or materials then go ahead and backup those too!
Just buy Portal if you want to content.

Granted I'm silly, but it was worth it for a little, got all the portal add-ons i could from the toybox, then i added in the rest of the files and BAM! background and menu got screwed >.>

Your gonna freak at this but, I know how it works, i just put the files in now this wasn't from the demo portal files, it was from the full version, and sadly, i didn't buy it >.>
