"map load failed: l4d_hospital01_apartment not found or invalid"

Hello everyone.

I'm very happy about the L4D content being mounted but there's one problem: The maps don't work. I get the above message in the console, for example if I want to open l4d_hospital01_apartment. I have looked for someone with the same problem but the only other person with the problem is a Frenchman (and even though I do know some of the language, I am not fluent).

I have L4Ds 1 and 2 completely genuine and authenticated but to no avail. Is there a fix for this error?

Garry has said that L4D maps DON'T WORK due to the format.

IIRC, Garry said that while the content is mounted, you can't use the maps for some reason. I forget why.

hl2 uses bsp version 20 l4d1+2 uses version 21
