Gmod crashes after joining my favorite DarkRP server

The second Gmod finishes loading, it crashes. I tried to verify my cache, it did nothing. I tried searching on google, but I couldn't find anything similar to my issue.

My system specs:

535 watt psu
Athlon II X4 3.0ghz Quad Core processor
Asus Nvidia ENGTS450 graphics card
4GB of G.Skill Ripjaw series DDR3 ram

I had this, only way to fix it is to re-install

Also, I got a new error today:
A window saying "Engine Error" pops up

Try joining singleplayer first and from there you can join the server. Works for me.

hi, i have the same problem but mine is lump 8, i have tried going from single player but no luck D:
