XtraGaming has a dedicated team worknig to provide our guests with everything that a RP gamemode should have. Our aim is to create a server that everyone enjoys and has fun. The server is regulary updated, and our active admin team is always here to help you out, and ofcourse, enforce the rules.[/release]

[b]- Fresh, clean and unique GUI[/b]
Not too much to say about this, check it out in the Media section further down.
[b]- Dynamic Economy[/b]
The servers Economy is controlled by the Mayor, who has to be voted into his position. The Economy was inspired by the late OCRP, so if any of you guys have played on OCRP you may be familiar with how the Economy works. Every 10~15 minutes the Mayor is given a scenario, which he or she must find the solution to. Provoding an appropriate solution will make the Economy rise, but if you make a bad decision the Economy will fall. The higher the Economy, the more money the City will generate. The Mayor can view the Cities money, and purchase items for the Public and Government to use, such as Armor Dispensers and Vending Machines. We plan to add an upgrades system for the Mayor to use within the next week, which will allow the Mayor to purchase upgrades for his Government, such as better Healo Guns or stronger weapons.
[b]- Editable Laws System[/b] [I](Originally made by Paradox, fixed by us)[/I]
This feature allows the Mayor to change the cities laws. Whilst playing as the mayor, type /law to bring up the menu, and you can easily edit laws and illegalise + legalise weapons which will be displayed around the city on billboards.
[b]- Bank System[/b]
Our custom Bank System links in closely to the Economy system. Your Payday goes straight into your bank account, which can be accessed via various ATMs dotted around the City. Your payday varies with the Economy, so the higher the Economy, the more pay you will get! Another feature is Bank Interest. You will gain a varied amount of interest on the money in your bank every 10 minutes. This varies depending on the Economy. If the Economy is in the red, you will get a negative interest.
[b]- Inventory[/b]
The inventory we use is a fixed and edited version of jakegadgets DrpInv. Basically, instead of using /drop to drop your weapon, you use /holster which will place your weapon into your inventory. From here you can either Equip or Drop it. We have also coded a SWEP which allows you to place items into your inventory, rather than having to memorise a key combination, which makes it very user friendly. Whilst ingame, press F2 to open your Inventory.
[b]- Revival System[/b]
If you are playing as a Paramedic, you can revive fallen players. Players must either wait 80 seconds to respawn, or dial /911 to call the Government. Use the defibrilator whilst standing over a player to respawn or "Revive" other players to the exact place of death. You will recieve a bonus of $50 for every player you revive.
[b]- Vehicle Saving[/b]
Eric, who is situated near Marr Frieght will allow you to purchase a Hoverbike which permanently saves to your SteamID, for a small fee of $250,000. You can use your Hoverbike to cruise around town and pickup some bitches.
[b]- NPC's to interact with[/b]
There are various NPCs around the City. Rindir will sell you food when there is nobody playing as a Chef, whilst our Medic NPC will heal you to full health for a small fee if there is no Paramedic. [I](/buyhealth is removed)[/I]
[b]- Custom Entities[/b]
There are a variety of custom entities which you can purchase, such as the infamous Drug Plant. The main objective of the Drug Plant is to keep it alive by watering it. The Plant will change colours as it begins to die, and you'll need to water it frequently to keep it alive. Every so often, the plant will level up until it reaches level 5. You can sell the plant at any level, but to maximise profit it is suggested you wait until it is level 5. Drug Plants can also be used every 5 minutes to boost your health up, but the high doesn't last long and will make you weaker in the long run! Generally the Mayor will make sure Drug Plants are illegal, so keep them hidden to prevent the Government from confiscating it.
[b]- Realistic Weather[/b]
Downtown is a really unpredictable place, one minute it may be sunny - the next theres a thunderstorm! Our weather system, which was inspired by PERP, gives the server a more realistic feeling. The weather often varies, and on a very rare occasion, you may actually see a tornado causing havoc in the streets.
[b]- Advanced Hit System[/b]
The hit system allows the Hitman class to easily review and manage hits. Players who have a bounty on their head are marked in the menu, alongside what price for. The server is notified when a Hitman carries out a hit, and the hit is automatically removed from the list. If a Hitman kills a player who doesn't have a hit on their head, the server will also be notified allowing the admins to take aciton. Any player can set a hit from the easy to use menu which you can access by pressing F4.
[b]- Aiming for Realistic Roleplay[/b]
We've tried to make the Gamemode as realistic as possible, which can be fairly limited when using DarkRP as your base. On your first join, you will be asked to enter a forename and a surname before you can play. This ensures all players have correct Roleplaying names. We have added features such as automatic /me's - which basically means whenever you carry out a specific chat function, a related /me will automatically be produced. For example, I type "/911 Murder!" the server will automatically produce this: PLAYER dialed 911. All guns automatically have 1 bullet in the magazine when they are bought, making sure players have to go out and buy ammo of the specific sort for their own gun.

[b]- Other Niggles[/b]
The server has a stamina system, which puts a finite time on the amount of running you can do over a period of time. Government Employees can confiscate all contraband simply by clicking 'Use' on the item in question, rewarding them in the process. If the Mayor is killed, he is demoted and all the items & upgrades he has bought for the city are removed. The mayor can /Fire Government Employees if they misbehave, giving him or her total control. Ammo is now only purchasable by specific classes, and is spawned in boxes which can be equipped straight into your gun or placed into the inventory.

And thats exactly why you need the correct access rank to become the Mayor.
This is in fact a very well controlled server, just judging it on what it seems to be, is not really that smart at all, the admins are actually nice, the players are usually always following the rules, and other players are always there if you need to ask a question about something :D

Yes, DarkRP servers can be good, but they rarely are since the people that are serious don't even bother with it. Occasionally you'll encounter a good DarkRP server, but it's extremely rare from my experience.
Now, let's not hijack this thread and start another DarkRP flame war. Let's focus on the server at hand.
This server seems like one of the better ones, I'll try to check it out.

lol i remember playing on this server before, There was a gun dealer and it was an admin so then i went up to him he had a gun shop and it was automatic and it said 250$ for a glock and i gave him the money he took it and didnt give me my gun so i said "Hey i payed for a glock can i have it please?" and he didnt respond so i said "nice scam" then he rdmed me and i said "wow nice rdm bro" then i got banned for 9999 mins..... I would not recommend this server.
also i join this server sometimes just to see whats going on and all i see is people crying in OOC about rdm and little kids complaining and rdm and other weird shit, And most of the "Custom" stuff in there is stolen. For example the Hit System. They stole the idea from a popular Gaming RP Community called "Best Serious RP" and then theres the bill boards that say the laws and which weapons are illegal. They just took that from Garrysmod.org there was a download called "Paradox Gamemode NPC TRAIN and other stuff" then with the bank system and the weather system. There was also another download on Garrysmod.org with the name "DARKRP CUSTOM WEATHER/NPCS/BANK!" and it looks the exact same as the one they have. But the weather system is just stolen from perp. The mayor law thing is also stolen from the paradox gamemode. Basicly most of the "Custom" stuff in this is downloaded off of Garrysmod.org.

Thats in the past, this is the present. There where do things wrong with it that we had to fix:
1) Jumping didn't reduce your stamina.
2) The addon wouldn't always load up.
Anyway it doesn't matter, as this gamemode has been sold to another community.
