Lately, the popular Zakera Ward has become a place of heightened crime ever since Shepard, Universal Hero, dissapeared into the Omega 4 Relay. The Blood Pack has somehow convinced C-Sec to allow them entrance, which means higher gang/merc influence in the wards, C-Sec soon realized their errors after finding 3 dead humans in the factory floor of Zakera, which also ended up to be a trap set by the Blood Pack, none of the officers surivived. C-Sec has tried deeply to get rid of the Blood Pack, but none of their efforts came to succession, so they had to allow the Alliance Military to step in. Yes, it will be difficult, but to achieve any great things, it's not going to be a walk in the park, and I understand this... That's why i'm trying to form a team that would be willing to dedicate the time to something so advanced as this.

"If you cannot roll stones up a hill, don't attack the villagers below by trying." If you don't have enough skills to provide a working RP server (with room for improvement), then it will fail. Until you have those skills, you shouldn't waste your time and money by creating a server. A server with a useless leader will not be one at all. By trying while knowing you'll fail, you're wasting everyone else's time.

I agree with pretty much everything that has been said earlier in this thread. Crazy, if you are to start your own roleplay community, you need some experience and some skills yourself. A community leader must do more than to just rule over a bunch of people doing all the hard work, a community leader gotta be the guy that brings it all together and uses his skills to bring a team of developers together etc etc. You obviously have little knowledge about Tiramisu, since it is extremely easy to modify and the head hacking system in it works flawlessly with professional results. You could easily turn it into a Mass Effect RP with some dedication and the right player base.

Look, I think its not a bad idea. However, this is not the way to go about making it. People with strong talent aren't gonna let some guy simply stand there and tell them what to do. YOU need to do something. Community lead isn't a role, it isn't a talent. it is not a talent to find a server and buy one. I know this is very pessimistic, but the way this is heading isn't looking too good. I'd recommend you come backlater, after working on your mapping skills or coding skills. Than, people will see you have the ability to get things done and will help you out.

There's all types of roleplay out there. You can't use this as a motto without looking foolish because your style will be very different from mine or anyone elses. I roleplay in a non-gmod community which is nicely slack and has many experianced paraposters to one sentance posters, sex addicts to abstinant players. Not to mention, most of the community is old enough to be very mature about things. Your motto doesn't show this as a community that will be very bright, or the name, if it even works for a day. Most of GMod roleplay is a complete fucking joke anyways. There is no way this will even pick up, even for a full week. I can't map but I sure as hell would take critisizm better than you and not ignore the posts, instead, taking their advice. I have very limited server experiance but I have run one in the past, so I know the basics. I could probably replace you and make a much more original idea than this. In fact, I would at least create an interesting plot that has interesting roles and actually could be done in gmod, something not based off some game or movie, lazily like most roleplay servers out there do. Oh and, a good leader always has friends with wise moves helping them. You can't take the lead alone, but you must be as irreplacable as possible so that you keep your position. Having an idea and ordering people doesn't work. You must actively take critisizm and use it to improve your community, as well as let the mainstream opinions and wants flow and be fed. I was bored so I made a long rant.
