Gmod wont launch, problem related to animated menu.

Okay, so I downloaded the animated Portal 2 wallpaper from [url=http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1081387-Garry-s-Mod-Portal-2-bg-(Animated)]this thread[/url] and got it tucked away in the proper folder. Ever since then, whenever I start the game, the window opens (I run in a window) the window stays open for a half a second, then closes itself.

I verified game cache to no avail.
I'd appreciate any help. :smile:

Well I know I could, but I'd prefer to keep it since everyone else in the thread seems to have it working. Was wondering if there was a diff fix.

Most likely not, just remove it.

Well you don't really have a choice do you? If you want to play again you need to remove it since it's the source of the problem.

(Maybe posting system specs would help us figure out what's wrong)
