Eventually the virus spread faster than they could cover it up, contain it, or make a profit from. People were dying in the streets, their homes, and in their cars, except they didn't die.. they became something else, something...non-human... There were slow and fast ones, the streets of any city could be seen littered with shamblers, broken cars, and the freshly infected people dubbed "Runners", their brains detriorated past reason from the prion difciency. The Company, MedEx, Eventually fell to the military, The United States Army bombed their Headquaters and testing chambers, to deal with the Bio-terrorism. [B]April 16, 2015:[/B] Obama signs a form issuing a national wide quarantine, military clean up squads and roadblocks appear, cutting off travel to other states. The MidWest and Canada rumored to be safe, and untouched by the virus, but is unable to be accessed to anyone on the East or West coasts. The South went under martial law and military command and mobilized quickly, the defenses impenetrable to both zombie and survivor alike. Rumor has it the cure is still out there, you just have to want it... (Imagine whoever controls the cure, controls society itself, America is a ticking timebomb, cases of this prion difficency are showing up in different countries, and even in Midwest states.)
