Hello I found this forums whilst on steam I downloaded the Team Fortress 2 + Gary's Mod bundle :) It works good but since I am a super new user meaning I have never used Gmod or TF2 I obviously have questions. If anyone could give me some pointers or help with the tool that would be great. My first major question is how do I make the entities tab aka "Q" button tab stay open? It hurts my fingers to hold it for more the 1 min due to minor arthritis.
Sounds like you're having the same experience as me, I'm a newbie too, and also trying to find the a way to keep the tab stay open.
To keep the q menu open, simply type something in the prop search bar. When you're done, either press enter or click the refresh button and click cancel, then press q again.
To be honest, i dont understand why there isnt a toggle setting for the Q menu. Would be very useful.

Not really, because most people on the forum have played GMOD for more than a year or a couple of months it's set into peoples heads that they hold down the Q button for the Menu, if it were toggled then we would press it and wonder why it didn't dissapear.
Old-School fans of Garrys Mod would likely get confused.

Then give the toggle function a different key?
I think he's talking about a console command
