Tron Garry's Mod Machinima Project - need helpers!

Hey there guys! Recently, I've had the idea to do a machinima in Garry's Mod related to [I]Tron: Legacy[/I] (like a fan film). It seems to me like a great idea, and it'd be great to have it become a reality. But, there is practically [I]no[/I] content related to [I]Tron: Legacy[/I] on garrysmod.org, so I need some helpers to make some!

So here's the story:

[U][B]Tron: Corruption[/U][/B] (working title)

Meet Alex Jefferson, average ENCOM employee. He was great at what he did, until ENCOM lost money on their latest venture, Verbisware 7.1, their new operating system. They had to save money by laying off employees, and sadly, Alex was one of them. He ended up jobless, in his mother’s basement, playing World of Warcraft and hacking websites.

One day, he decided he would get his revenge on ENCOM, who was developing a new operating system to make back their losses on Verbisware. About a year or so later, ENCOM OS-13 hits the shelves, and is the first operating system that has the internet completely built in - no routers or modems required. It’s a massive hit, and pretty soon, ENCOM OS-13 eclipses all other operating systems.

Alex Jefferson finds his target. He creates an elaborate program, called Anattrix, built to break through OS-13′s defenses using codes and information he learned while he was at ENCOM.

Now, the story continues in the Grid. Anattrix, in program form, begins a rebellion. He corrupts programs using a special weapon of his and causes them to become his loyal followers- who also get the tools used to corrupt other victims. Soon, the Anattrix Virus is spreading over many parts of the grid.

Meet three programs, each with one thing in common- a desire for revenge. Each of them have had close friends who’ve fallen victim to the Anattrix Virus, and they’ve teamed up to stop Anattrix as they believe the key to lifting the virus off of the grid lies in Anattrix’s identity disk. All they have to do is survive long enough to find it.

well if you found a boomerang swep and a tron identity disc model that might get you somewhere

or if you got the throwable swep pack you could alter the code and put in the identity disc model.

I'm not sure how to make / edit / alter codes for sweps at the moment. But thanks for the idea! Never thought about altering a boomerang swep.

I'm going to be producing, directing, filming, map making (with some help, of course), faceposing, editing, and making up ideas as we go along with the project with the scriptwriter that I have (that enough for me to do for you?). And I'm not turning this into a "whole other game," I'm getting things together to make a machinima with everyone who actually WANTS to help.

I'd like to, but I don't have a mic.
Maybe you could get some voice actors for the players who want to act, so people without garrysmod/do not want to get on Garrysmod could still work.
Besides, using a mic in filming is pretty bad, you should edit it in.

Well, I know of one person over on the Steam Forums. And I used to act (school play :P) and people said I was pretty good, so I might do it myself. :)

Just saying, the mapping for this is going to be a little tricky looking at some screenshots, go get an experienced mapper from the mapping section, Sphinxa279 is a good one, so is hawx, Firegod522 and Ironphoenix.

I'm planning on making a test video of the opening (what my scriptwriter and I have come up with so far), and I'm looking into making a sort of sidestory short related to the machinima (that is, once everything's done modeling / mapping-wise).

My scriptwriter has a custom Tron fan website already going (here is his site: [URL]www.tronrevolution.webs.com[/URL]), and he's pretty good with making websites. He's planning on making one for this machinima, not sure what his progress is on it, though. Thanks anyway!

Cool channel man. ^^ Storyboards would be good, although my scriptwriter is writing out the scenes. And I'm not very great at action scenes... so maybe you could do that. (BTW, I know a Nguyen... his name is Elvis. Do you know him? You kinda look alike...)
