I downloaded Counter Strike source and i think thats all you will need. But i still can't hear any gun shots. The gun still does damage, but still no gun shot sounds. If you know how to fix it please tell me.

IKR!! it was working one day then the next day it just had glitches or something. Its nice to hear that im not the only one XD
I think it's something in the recent update that killed Gmod around a week ago. It seems that all scripted sounds that aren't in Garry's default game_sounds_manifest aren't being loaded like they used to be. It's also affecting GDCW and GDC. You can play WAV files fine but anything scipted doesn't work. Hopefully Garry fixes this soon.
Team Fortress 2 custom sounds are fucked too, This can only mean its G-a-b-e-n's fault or IDK.
A way to fix it is to go into the Scripts folder of the addon missing sounds (in this case the Realistic SWEP Pack) and then go into the Sounds folder in the Scripts folder, copy the .txt files in the Scripts\sounds of the addon folder, and place them in the main Scripts\sounds, I have tested this myself and it works, it also works for GDCW and Umbrella's RP Weapons, so if anything misses sounds, just do the things mentioned above, and your sounds are back as if they were NEVER gone!
