[b][u]Detailed Description:[/u][/b]
Alrighty, so today I started up my Garry's Mod and about an hour in I realize that I cannot walk backwards. I spammed my "S" key, smashed it with a hammer, everything, but my character refuses to walk backwards. I tried rebinding it, but then also found out I couldn't type/use "S" anywhere in Garry's Mod! Not even console or chat! I can conclude it has nothing to do with key binding. Also, upon first press, I hear a sort of "click" that you might hear from like a light switch and then on release of the key I hear a "click click" similar to a gun sound. Does anybody know how I could possibly fix this?

does your "S" key work out of the game?
Options -> Keyboard -> Use Defaults
It is possible someone messed around with your key bindings with an admin mod that allows it (Like ULX)
It does work out of game. I think I explained that it only happens within Garry's Mod. I also made note that the bindings have nothing to do with it. I recently mounted all of the games, though, that may have something to do with it. (I checked and it has nothing to do with the addons either.)
Delete your garry's mod folder and let steam recreate it. See if it works.
Cloudhunter, I tried that and it didn't work. However, after doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and not using Garry's Mod for about a week, I can walk backwards again. Hurray!
