Toybox Auth Error: [Receive Error] (retying in 1 seconds) - Also, GMod not closing?

Firstly, i cant load toybox (in the Q menu and the map toybox when selecting a map).
I believe it is related to a message i am getting in console;
Toybox Auth Error: [Receive Error] (retying in 1 seconds)
Toybox Auth Error: [Receive Error] (retying in 2 seconds)
Toybox Auth Error: [Receive Error] (retying in 3 seconds)

The "rety" (typo?) time keeps going up by 1 second forever.

Also, i am having trouble closing my garrys mod!
Every time i press exit game (or whatever the button is called, the one to close GMod) the game just freezes and i must open control panel to close "hl2.exe".

I am running Windows 7.

Anyone else getting this? Anyone know the fix?

Toybox server problems. For some reason toybox's server connection takes a dump. Wait a few hours and try again.

Garry's Mod does look like it freezes up when you close it - all Source games do. Wait like 10 seconds before going WHY IT NO CLOSE.

ive waited about 35 mins for it to shut and still hasent so had to end with task manager

This is the error i got... I was trying to get my favorite weapons from toybox and it didn't come up so i opened console and saw this... :/

No, not pirated. I have a paid for version of the game, and I have the same problem. No clue wtf is wrong with it, but whatevz.
