Levels give you points to spend on stat upgrades as well as money for weapons and powerups

Wouldn't this be unfair to anyone thats new that joins since it death match? The point it works in a rpg is because the game allows the player to level before having to fight a player, im assuming that data is constantly saved to a file or database since it shown in the picture so stats dont reset(correct me if im wrong).
How much does level effect the gameplay? This might be a big problem if any new players want to come and the servers always filled with high levels.
Yes, data is stored to a file.
Level difference determines how fast you level up, so the weaker players can level up faster vs stronger players with more guns.
XP and Money are also given when only injuring very high leveled players, so you are bound to earn some even if you dont manage to kill any of them.
Health doesn't regenerate (assuming the said player doesn't have a health regen item, which are rare because there are more useful items available , so eventually everyone will die even if it takes a long time.
The only thing levels allow you to do is upgrade your characters health, armour, or speed. Money is more important for new and more powerful weapons and items.
That's right Nemesis, even if you are against a level 26, you'll be able to level up as there's no such "UBER GUN" or "UBER POWERUP".

i was just trolling around in your test server, and while i was the only one in there, i have a suggestion already. It would be infinitley more playable if the cam wasnt so janky. It sorta jumps around and just doesnt feel too good, if the crosshair just remained perfectly in the center of the screen and just felt all around smoother it would be way better.

I was actually making fun of the fact that you said the gamemode would be funnier.
I did play on the server a bit, it's kind of really confusing, and the basic starter weapons aren't good. Why is the grav gun shooting bullets, and why is the pistol a tool gun?

You shouldn't complain of the default aiming system, the crosshair simply points where you shoot, it doesn't modify anything.
The shaky camera is due to how CalcView places your view. It simply moves the camera so you aren't looking through the model's eyes, so the camera moves with the model's head. That means, if it moves to the left, you whip over to the right, and vice versa with all directions, there's no real way to fix this unless you slow down the actual mouse movement.
Movement as in walking...erm...not exactly sure how to describe that other than lag. Jerkiness is due to lag most of the time, any random FPS spikes, Kobl?
Other than that, the game looks good for a DM gamemode. A few more additions could really touch up the game. I've always wanted to see, in one of these gamemodes, a one-shot super weapon. Something like a painter for a massive artillery strike or something, just a weapon that's really spectacular. Something that says 'I am DEATH.'
Other than that, I KNOW the gamemode could use some touching up, but I can't really suggest where. All I can say is good luck in development for this, and happy hunting :).

I haven't tested your gamemode yet, but I know that's going to cause jerkiness in aiming. Here's a pic I drew quickly from my own experiences to illustrate the situation.

See how in both aimvectors, the crosshair will be in the same position.
For example, aim past the corner of a wall like in the picture. Then move your mouse to the right. When your aim hits the wall, the crosshair will suddenly jump back left, and when you move your mouse more to the right, the crosshair will be back in the original position.
This will cause problems, especially if you need to shoot players. Since the crosshair is in the same position in both situations, you can't be sure if you're aiming AT the player or BEHIND.
Why have you limited the resolution size? It really Isn't needed, you can size your hud using percentages of ScrW() and ScrH(). This gamemode looks fun but limiting it to certain resolutions is just lazyness mate.
Thanks raBBish, I finally understands what he means. Actually, the crosshair DOES point where you shoot, the problem is that wrong movement... it's like that if you move right for a bit and then stop the mouse, you'll see your character pointing at right but in reality it's not pointing right it's pointing where the crosshair is... if anybody know how to fix this I'll gladly follow his suggestion.

I tried so, and after 2 days of work I found out that the "screen based" only works for screens larger than mine (1366*768) or at least 1200*600... so since I didn't have 2 other full days I just gave up and set a limit.
