Would any of you reccomend that i play Spacebuild?

Ive been pretty bored lately, and i rembered that there was this "Spacebuild" gamemode out there. I know a little bit about the gamemode, and even used the model pack for making bases in sandbox, but ive never tried it. Judging by the videos ive seen, it looks pretty fun. But is it something you recommend? I have basic wiremod knowledge and somewhat decent building skills.

I should suggest reading up on wire A LOT before starting Spacebuild. One simple mistake can pretty much cause your spaceship to fuck out in space; killing you :v:

Depends, there is "spacebuild" - which is light messing around, exploring spacebuild maps with friends and being creative having fun. Its easy and you can figure it out yourself fairly quickly.

Then there is "SPAAACEEEE MOTAH FUCKEN BUILD" which is the big contraptions giant space wars on spacebuild maps kinda thing. Which it helps to know some pretty advanced wiremod to do.

Yeah Spacebuild is a good ol gamemode. Atleast try it out.

Aircompresser links to seat to give air - power cell links to air compresser to give power - solar panel links to power cell. Easy.

And its not wire, its lifesupport. Anyways, I find life support props a bit suckish, I went to one server that only used HL2 props for life support. Now I cant go back :/. Plus is used an easy version of life support.

True, a climate regulator, and I cant remember the name, but it lets you stick to objects in zero G. Useful for repairing things that are outside planets. Get a space suit and use that tool and thats it.

It's decent, but it worth building most of your complicated shit in single-player.

Honestly, I've never played SpaceBuild. Always seemed interesting to me, but it seems annoying, as from what I've seen hours worth of work can go to shit with one slight mistake.

Dont know where to get the actual game mode but theres everything you need to build a space ship and fly around In a spacebuild game.

I also recommend getting SuperLlama's excellent Gravity Hull Designator if you dont want to be bounced off the walls inside of your spaceship while trying to fly.
Also The Stargate Mod and Carter's Addon Pack are great companions to spacebuild, with a number of systems designed to help like shields, cloaking devices and weapons, fully compatable with Life Support.
