how to save models and spawn them at other servers

my friend and i played on a server and sonmeone spawned a awesome selfmade base just with one klick. i watched but he was no admin or owner. so how to save something in your model list and then quickspawn it?

Three things you must understand:

First off, what he spawned was not a model, but a collection of other models welded together and then saved.

Secondly, The tool he used to spawn the saved contraption is called "advanced duplicator" and can only be obtained by downloading it online.

Thirdly, the tool is not accessible in single-player because the tool is only listed on the server, you will not be able to use it unless you are on the server.

Did you even read the OP? He said he saw someone make a base by using a tool, which means he was using Advanced Dupe. Stop reading a title and thinking you know what he's talking about; you're just leading him astray.

Anyway, if you want to be able to save stuff you make in singleplayer, and place it online using said "Adv Dupe", you have to download it from wiremod website as an SVN. To do this, you'll need to download Tortoise SVN first, and then use the URL link from the wiremod website.

You don't need a torrent, where did you get that idea? Advanced Duplicator is free, and you can download and use it. If you download it, then you CAN use those singleplayer made castles in multiplayer, if the server has the tool as well.

Ok, Well still, unless the server admin gives Op the .txt it wont matter because AFAIK, you cannot bring the adv dupes from one server to the other.

He's talking about making something himself and bringing it into singleplayer, as he said above.

You're an idiot, you can download Adv Dupes if they are uploaded to the server and bring them to others.
Oh, and download the most recent wire to get Advanced Duplicator.

Man, some of you people are being dicks to him. Maybe he's not too good at GMod and just needs help. That's basically what I see.

Alright so as some people above explained, you want advanced duplicator. And as Jimmy said, it goes with Wiremod. Wiremod might be tough for a new player, but you need it if you want the duplicator.
