[CURRENT COMPETITORS] Dr. Nick ZeosPantera Hybodo Cheese Bishop Gambit Hello all! Interested in competitive building? How about building a truck to tow a trailer around a specialized course? Perfect. You may remember a specific community... Tricky's Tutorials There are only a few of us left from years and years ago and we're hosting a competition. Below I will link directly to the Youtube video, and to the Reddit post for the competition as an alternate area of discussion. Anyone is welcome to join. The Youtube video explains all of the rules, and there's also a summarized rule list in the description of the video that will be placed into this post. The summarized rules are missing valuable information so I recommend you watch through the video to understand how the competition is going to work. To enter the competition in a week or two you'll join a private server we have running to compete. Private message me here on Facepunch or on Steam (Hybodo) for the server info if you'd like to build with us or if you're ready to compete. If you might enter the competition just leave a post here. #################################################################################### Official Competition Video Official Reddit Thread #################################################################################### Okay ladies and gentlemen! shit's so out of scale it makes my dick limp.
FYI That's Nick's version of saying yes. Nr. Dick.
You're Winner
Yes?
My red big rig will be on if I can fix my damn suspensions
I actually thought this thread was going to be something PC building-related.
Looks good. Course seems a little tight for such large vehicles in some spots however.
Yeah I'll enter. Where do I get my copy of the trailer?
Update: I realized I never posted the track and trailer dupes! Here they are, and they are added to the main post: http://goo.gl/JXSpi1
It should be noted that the mph output from wire speedometers is incorrect (it uses a 1 unit = .75 basis), you should use units/sec / 17.6 for true mph. I noticed the speedometer on the trailer. [editline]24th November 2014[/editline] Also, the trailer doesn't have sphere wheels- the trailer bounces around and speed is pretty limited (I'm pulling with a 25t truck with 1900hp, mind). I can tow it unloaded to a max of 35 mph, while i can tow a 60 ton trailer with spheres to 45+ (ACF)
Mmm, I think I'll bite. Probably won't succeed, but I'll bite. I do have one minor question, though. I build all of my cars around the joystick addon and drive with a controller(Currently a PS3 pad). That gonna work on the server come time to make a run or three?

Sweetness. Don't forget to make the following fix to the files such that players can actually close the menus while on the server. Without it attempting to do anything that can't be done in the Spawn Menu means having to disconnect through the console to close the menus again.
I made these changes to MattJeanes latest revision (internal version 28) and it will work until the author gets around to correcting it. addons\Joystick\lua\autorun\client\joyconfig.lua Near the very bottom comment out the line: frame:LoadControlsFromString(string.gsub(jcon.whitegui,"%%TITLE%%",caption)) Such that it looks like this: --frame:LoadControlsFromString(string.gsub(jcon.whitegui,"%%TITLE%%",caption)) Hopefully that works for you as well! Cheers, invidious_2004
Not sure if it's on the workshop or lost on the internet. In addition I was hearing about an addon known as "Constraint Score" or something like that, anyone have any info on that?

Are you going to put makespherical on the trailer wheels?
Are you going to put makespherical on the trailer wheels?
Yea I'll do that and re-upload the dupes.
