HUD Ideas? - Garry's Mod - Facepunch Forum

I like making HUD's, unfortunately I'm not an 'ideas guy'. The reason I make HUD's is to get a better understanding of Lua. I suck at it but I make decent HUD's. Anyways, I would like some ideas of some HUD's that FP would be interested in seeing. Obviously these won't be done in 2 hours or anything like that. I just want some ideas of some HUD's that you think would look nice. A picture reference would be nice but if you can't then please describe it. In detail of course. If you'd like a certain type of GM support then just say so and I'll TRY. Otherwise these will all be for sandbox. (Sorry if the post in confusing. I'm not exactly the best essay writer either.)

As far as I know there are no public Halo HUD's. However I do plan to work on one of these later on.

A L4D HUD is what I've wanted for a long time. Sadly no one has actually made one. If you want to make one you could probably use textures from the game itself. [IMG]http://media.moddb.com/images/downloads/1/29/28207/34376.jpg[/IMG] I'm not forcing you to do it, you can do it if you want to.

I will definitely try to make the L4D HUD. I'm in the process now of making that Halo HUD. Shouldn't be too hard.

I'd like to know if you guys want a public release or a ScriptFodder release of the Halo HUD? (obvious choice here) Just want some opinions.
