I cleaned my garrys mod and I was wondering if someone have suggestions for good addons.
Wiremod, Customizable weaponry 2.0, Parakeet's pill pack, and some other addons...
this is pretty subjective, i prefer a pretty clean gmod, maybe with wire and other build addons for sandbox. of course if you like a roleplay server those might be pretty useless
Depends on what you wanted to do? Do you want to pose ragdolls or do you want to play something? Rp, ttt?
I want to play sandbox and pose ragdolls.
Bone merger, sprops, customizable weapons 2.0, sleek weapon base, tdm cars, sgm cars, lw cars, gmod tower player model pack, and drivers heaven is a good mapp for building, sandbox rp or driving.
It's definitely difficult to pin down what the "best" addons are considering the different categories, the quality of the addons, and how willing you are to stay close to having a "Clean" Garry's Mod. All I can really say is look for addons that actually look like someone put more than an hour into coding. Don't download maps that are composed of a few boxes in a field or an admin gun with a 0.01 firing delay or some five second gamebanana weapon. You might have to dig a bit before you find the good stuff, but there is definitely quality content on the workshop. My personal recommendations for addons would be Sauce's Tools of the Trade, bone merger, any vehicles made by SligWolf, Stand Pose Tool, and Silly's Weapons. All of these addons are done extremely well and are up to date. RP_city8 and gm_excessconstruct are also really good for posing and building.
tl;dr Question's subjective, avoid stuff that looks like it was made in five minutes, search around, try not to download too much.
Well if you like cars then I personally like TDM a lot. They're all pretty HD and nice so I would consider it one of the best. Sit anywhere is a nice addon. There's a lot of stuff that's good.
For sandbox I suggest:
Wire, ADV duplicator, PAC3, Sligwolf's vehicles (They're all ridiculously small in size and are fun to ride around in) and CW2 for some nice weapons since HL2 weapons are ugly and the others on the workshop suck.
