gmod steam folder

can i know whats the gmods steam folder in the /steamapps/common folder its because i have the game and i dont want it redownloaded

Everyone always has different answers for this. People say it's in common, while for me it's in my steamname folder.

Do this:

1) Go to your steam library
2) Right-click Garry's Mod
3) Click properties
4) Click Local Files
5) Click Browse Local files.

You should be in your Garry's Mod folder at this point.
