DarkRp is a very very cool gamemode on gmod. One of the most played gamemode. The only thing that is making me angry is that DarkRp hasn't been working on mac for ages and every body is telling facepunch to fix it but they are updating some other stuff instead. I mean, people will say : Buy a pc you idiot mac suck. I'll buy a pc but now, I don't have the money to afford a good pc and I agree mac is not for gaming. But for the love of god fix DarkRp on mac. I had to download parallels desktop on my mac and find a good windows 7 ISO so I can play darkrp. The only problems is that with a virtual desktop like that, its lagging so much more.
Garry doesn't even have anything with DarkRP?
I d'ont know is garry is in charge of darkrp but i just want someone to fix it

Thanks ill just delete this post and make a better one but its not personal issues its issue with all people on mac trying to play darkrp on server with alot of addons

People say that its a memory error but I've done researches and all mac users trying to join big darkrp server are crashing and its saying : "hl2_osx quit unexpectedly"

Actually think this is an issue with the last update and mac/gmod in a whole not just DarkRP, fairly sure it's not DarkRP actually. So yea, a thread with more information/better title/proper place might help.

How could a gmod update break one specfic gamemode on one specific OS though, doesn't make much sense.
This entire thread was based on what appears to be a misunderstanding...
Garry's Mod is the name of the game.
DarkRP is just a script created by others to give a certain gameplay to Garry's Mod.

Not saying it is, saying these fools are only playing DarkRP/only using actually gmod features in DarkRP instead of throwing a barrel in single player and going "DUH Entire game works, must be DarkRP".
It's true that i'm playing gmod for darkrp and i should maybe try out more thing, it's true that I havn't do reaserches before doing this post and I admit that I totally fucked up by posting this crap. I'll do reaserches and maybe post on a forum where people will understand more what I'm talking about and that is more related to darkrp.

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about yourself. This forum is probably your best bet because the darkrp forum is full of kids.
