• Prone in TTT

Does anyone think TTT should have a ability to go prone? Some uses of it would be able to stay hidden in places that have short walls and traitors would be able to follow people and not be seen in some situations.

It doesn't have to be Call of Duty to have prone.

Like what? You wouldn't be able to shoot when you're in prone, and if you use a hack, it will probably be detectable.

Also on the waywo thread I saw plenty of prone scripts, it's possible infact, the only issues are the lacking of player model animations and the usage of hacky code.

Jesus... A "hack" is a term for bad code which is written to reach the end goal by all costs. Implementing probe would require hacky code

Going prone, especially with diving, would be pretty fun in a non-serious game but for most things that involves shootouts I agree with Soren. The only gamemodes I can imagine it being useful without resulting in unfair advantages/disadvantages are hide and seek and my tag gamemode. But it mostly depends on the map really.
I have a prone addon....except I cannot redistribute it. It's not that big of a deal, it doesnt really benefit much.
Do you have a video of it in action?

The "hack" in this context is where you use the tools you've got to build a raft here. It's going to be ugly as shit, break a hell of a lot and absolutely disgustingly awful to try and use - better to stay on bank unless you *need* to leave.

DoD:S Animations don't play on GMOD Playermodels, though? I tried that when I was futzing about with SNPCs.
IIRC, Day of Defeat: Source has different rigs for models. Do not take my word for it though. I just remember something like that being bitched about in the WAYWO thread.
