Hello, So recently I opened up my new DarkRP server in garry's mod. The first two days we did great! We were full. I bought a few more slots and now i am at 20 but then after this weekend not many people have been joining. I have had 7 at the highest. Is their anything I am doing wrong? I do have this server posted on game tracker and we are in the 71st % tile and I do not know what to do. Please Help.
Be fun! People want a playerbase over anything else from my experience. As well, I've noticed not many people care about customization, although it is a suggestion.

As crazy said definitely a playerbase before anything try to really get your name out there!
Any special way to get my name out their? Beside putting it on gametracker and telling my friends?

Word of mouth is a powerful thing. Once you have a decent playerbase, reputation and word of mouth will make you known.

Idk why I'm posting in this thread because over the years I have come to disliking DarkRP and the servers that host it.. But I can link you to this site that was made by a Facepuch forum member. [url]http://gmodpri.me[/url] (It may help).
Other than that, the real best way to "fill up" more would be to invite your friends and tell them to invite their friends. Maybe even offer more in-game money to the people that invite more people?
