I met Zoorik a couple days ago for a Script Fodder job, we never really talked that much, although one day, I get a message from him. [/quote] Over the course of the next 3-4 hours, we are in constant contact, constantly talking with eachother, attempting to work out the issue, and solve the problem. I send him several iterations of a "fix" (the entire job being able to a select few of melee sword weapons, and getting them working, as with almost everything we tried, animations would not work). I join his developer server a couple times-- and when I'm not I would be in my local Garrysmod server working on the issue-- trying different bases, methologies, etc. At one point, during these hours of me working on the job, I go offline for a few minutes-- as my internet provider was having some trouble. The split second in which I was offline, I continued work on the script. My internet came up about an hour+ before we stopped talking to eachother. I have more logs of the entire conversation, but most are related to the script and have little to nothing to do with the topic at hand. I continue pasting him the development of the script he asked for, and it's going along extremely well. He bans you if you're a server owner, friends with a server owner, or your name is aStonedPenguin. He'll pretty much ban you if you have any clue about how Garry's Mod works other than playing it.

Do what I've done when people decided they didn't want what I made, release it publicly, so it's not a complete waste of time.

Ok you told your side of the story so heres what really happened.. Interesting you didnt include the time stamps and you only included a part of the chat. Obviously in your favor.. Anyways dude I told you multiple times I needed the script done in a quick amount of time as I had wasted 3-4 days dealing with it already.. You said cool that you could do it and then you said you were working on it. You kept joining different garry's mod servers and showing me youtube links for like 30minutes before even starting to work on the script which I was cool about it I just reminded you I needed this done right away. You tried to get it done and then you couldnt because what you made didnt work and it was giving errors and we tested it on my server.. This was like 3-4 hours after you initially said you would start work on the script. Then after that you didnt reply to my messages for like 20-40 minutes when I was trying to check the status. So after that you went OFFLINE and kept ignoring my messages for about about 2.5-3 hours.. in the meantime while you were offline I got a real coder to fix the script and paid him. His name is Gonzo. Sorry buddy if you want to get paid finish the job and finish it in a timely manner.. I dont have time to jack around with you. Then you harass me about getting paid and all this BS after I already paid someone else and they got it to work for me. In this same statement, you also imply you two were in contact during this period. When the deadline was reached, why didn't you notify him that he had exceeded the time limit and told him to stop working? Why did he continue working if he should have clearly known his work would go unrewarded past your given time, especially during the period in which he was offline? Something doesn't add up, especially considering your apparant rush to have this job completed.

Zoorik, if you are going to run a server, atleast know a little bit about coding/how stuff works.

I can barely make anything of value within two hours because coding takes time and this guy spent his time fixing something for your ungrateful ass just so you could tell him he wasn't needed anymore. At this point the right thing to do would be to give him at least some compensation for his work, regardless of if you need it.
