Hamerfall Gaming Networks - The Truth (GMod Drama/Rant) - Garry's Mod

Hello, my name is Headington. You may know "Lord Tyler" from his previous antics of trying to DMCA content that was ported from another game, back dooring people's servers in an attempt to stomp out competition, and the countless other things he has done in his time of hosting a Garry's Mod community. The name that may ring a bell is Hammerfall Gaming Networks, a community that he forced people to believe were bringing innovative ideas and grand scale projects to the Garry's Mod community every week and could not be stopped in any way, shape, or form. Well, I'm here to tell you about what went down and why Hammerfall's website now looks like this: [IMG]https://i.gyazo.com/0d7b6f04fc4e74bcf60952337550a632.png[/IMG] It all starts with a player named Headington. He goes on Garry's Mod to find a Star Wars server and fails to find one, the next day he does the same thing and to his surprise he finds a server under Hammerfall Gaming known as "The Galactic Civil War". Upon loading in his face is something along the lines of: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/hcLo0rE.png[/IMG] Sith, Stormtroopers, anything and everything was there and all that he had to do was make a name. So, he became Headington and that's the end of the intro. As he goes on to play this server he later becomes a t-mod, working his way to admin, global, and beyond. Eventually he joins the Clone Wars server hosted by Hammerfall and enjoys it along with his friends who requested him to join. The issue, however, is that the staff team there isn't as good as he would want them to be. No creativity, not enough development, and he wasn't going to stand for it. So, he messages Tyler and requests to be made a GM. Well, he kind of gets accepted after the entire staff team quits and a bulk of them go to a community we call Aftershock Gaming leaving Hammerfall's Clone Wars in a state of decay. Our reaction: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/P03bQN4.gif[/IMG] It would later turn out that I now completely agree with them leaving after seeing everything through a new light. ON WITH THE STORY! Headington becomes the Head-Gm after his friend Delta gets fired for the sole purpose of Headington taking control. Headington doesn't think much of it but Delta feels backstabbed over the ordeal. If only Headington knew this was just one of the many scumbag things that had been done in front of his very eyes and he was too power hungry to see it happening. Headington GM's for the server as Head GM, managing the staff team and events and the server actually caps out at 127/127 multiple times! It was great; the success of this server was great! However, the players do leave over time and Headington has so much stress on him that he's on the verge of suicide some days. He steps down and walks away from Clone Wars, the server dies not long after and he feels bad for having to leave something he truly loved. Not long after I believe I took a break from everything, I played a bit of CS:GO but after dealing with depression for a while I start to miss all the people I used to talk with on HFG. I go back one day and I'm greeted with nothing but kindness, one person doesn't greet me at all but you already know who that is. Let’s move on though as this part of the story is really just me doing what I can and later becoming staff again, the story really picks up when the applications for Community Director come out. So, community director applications come out and Headington wants to become one, he thinks he's great when it comes to the RP scene at HFG and has experience handling a lot of people daily. On top of that it's an RP Director meaning that he would be handling the happenings on the RP servers. Wouldn't ya know that two people Headington knew were handed positions but he had to write an application. He was pissed off but did it anyways, he got the position and Tyler tries to write it off as some "I needed to know if you would go the extra mile!" bullshit in regards to why he wasn't given the position like others were. He works his ass off. He works his ass off so much that he ends up down talking other staff members and now he wants more power, he wants that community manager position. He's fit for it, he knows he can do it, and he does the other staff member’s job the ones who were picked are nothing compared to him at this point. At least, that's what he's thinking... In reality he hurts some people, and to this day he's upset he let this thing get to him. It's only because of the influences he had around him. He becomes a community manager and later becomes an owner, he has complete control of the paypal as it's in his name and the other owner is kind of fired (?) He has access to the server's panels, he makes an agreement to take money out of the paypal to his personal bank account for his own use and to help bulk the funds if ever needed. He's happy with himself but that depression is still around, Tyler knows about it and would like to write himself off as the reason Headington didn't kill himself but he knows better than that. Headington is far too strong willed to just kill himself; it would take much more than someone not caring to push him over the edge. Well, Tyler continues to do his thing and reveals a lot to Headington. Like the fact that he has booters, that he was behind backdooring ASG at one point, that he scams hundreds and hundreds of dollars of people with CS:GO items (I shared the spoils but I never actually partook in the scamming, something I still feel scummy about but the money I made off of CS:GO items actually went into buying friend's gifts, something I'm happy I could have done for them), that he kept a man around who had mental issues simply to get money off of him going as far as telling me that he was going to try and get money off of him for his own use. All of this starts piling up but poor Headington doesn't see any errors in his ways, he's too blinded and too deep into the shit at this point. It's only when he starts getting targeted does he wake up to smell the coffee. December 2015: The month of departure. Headington speaks out against Tyler regularly; he doesn't like what he's doing and feels that the community has been suffering not because of copy cats but because of Tyler himself. Tyler even has the new community managers LOOKING FOR SERVERS TO COPY EVERY DAY. He starts withdrawing money (still only after telling Tyler he was going to do it to make sure the community would live) and uses it to buy things he would use later on in life when he left the community. Exercise equipment, books, things for friends to make them happy, but he still makes sure he's not OVER spending. Well, in Headington's mind January 1st would be the day he left the community; he was done with all the drama and garbage it was bringing out to him. He was tired of Tyler mistreating him and telling him he's the lowest ranking owner even though for the entire month he felt like the only one doing any real community work. Community. That's what Headington was missing. He was just a worker that made sure the machine didn't fall apart while Tyler raked in all the rewards of the work. Every day he got constant pm's, he had to make sure things were done on the forums, on the servers, on the ts, everything. 4am wasn't sleep time for Headington; it was the time he kept the late players happy. Well, wouldn't you know that 2 community managers felt the exact same way as he did. True, and Zenlon, two community managers that I really bonded with in the last month had felt mistreated, felt like the community was no longer what it was, and that they were going to be banned one day. The last week before we leave True brings up the idea of making a new community. Headington didn't want a new community; he wanted to be gone, to fall off the face of the internet. We joked about it being "high treason" but as the week went on and new policies were placed to directly target me as well as the upper staff team (IE the community managers) we decided it was enough, we weren't going out with a fizzle. He acts as if I care about running Gmod servers so hardcore, this kid cried and whined about killing himself 24/7 just to get sympathy. What a pathetic dunce of a person. EDIT: No shit I ran the servers for money. You act like thats a sin.. "I change my paypal password" and stole the money I made, but its cool dude, I keep backup money because I don't trust humans. Your newfound "community" is dying and this is your last ditched effort to get players back, but the realization is you don't know what you're doing, it's been what 2 weeks and your player counts dropped this much, I'd be surprised if you make it to feb. In all honesty, I hope you get help for your sociopathic ways, you need it. You play peoples emotions just to get sympathy and compassion, I honestly hope you find a better status in life rather than trying to find a reason to kill yourself over Garry's Mod bro, I won't be the shoulder for you to cry on at 3am anymore, you'll need to find someone else for that. Even when you had to go work for your family or whatever it was I still made sure everything ran smoothly. The paypal was in my name, never had your name attached to it, and had 500 in it, not 1000, m8. On top of that the funds are going towards the new community so we don't have to depend on player funds to create a friendly community that doesn't require p2w tactics. I was a very unhappy person and always had suicidal thoughts to the point where it was the norm, I've become a really happy person now with lack of stress as well as working out just about everyday. It's not a sin but what you did for money is scummy, don't try to lie about it. You earned none of that money, you didn't work for shit. The community isn't trying to be a monolith, we're just trying to be friends something you constantly preached about than worked against. It's cool though, you do you and I'll do me. I hope you get some mental help, man. I've never even heard of this kid's server(s) and I literally only play RP servers. If you come on to FP starting rants/drama about a server, there's a good chance that either (A). No one has ever heard of your server, or (B). No one cares.

If any of that's true, good job. I stopped caring about darkrp shite years ago, but if you're promising to bring new things to the table, I wish you luck.
