Can i use ByetHost.com to host FastDL?

i have configured ByetHost.com to hold my addon files for my dedicated server but i dont see my server downloading from there.

im not sure if ftp:// is allowed, i mainly see people use only http://

my files are here

[url]ftp://[e-mail]/htdocs/Gmod_Server_files/[/url]

and i put that in my server.cfg located in steamCMD/*gmod server name*/cfg in as so

sv_downloadurl      "ftp://[e-mail]/htdocs/Gmod_Server_files/"
sv_allowdownload    1
sv_allowupload      0

and again in SteamCMD\*server name*\garrysmod\cfg just to be safe

i also placed the lua in my server lua folder as i was supposed to.

tried to follow here but i cant understand the language

Yes and it's not working.
Upon some further digging around with that website I found how to host on the http extention.
But oddly enough it still doesn't download the files.

You need to place your addon files on the same machine your hosting it off of

FastDL is for your clients to use and download assets

In gma form or extracted form?
My server Is entirely hosted from my computer so all files are here. Besides what's on fastdl server.
The addon has no gma.

This is wrong. You can put it on any machine. OP think of it this way. If you want to download an image file from example.com you go on [url]http://example.com/imagename.png[/url] and download it. Not [url]ftp://,[/url] it's your sv_downloadurl that is very messed up.
