Why did gmod never have strong hydraulics and motors?

Something that has always bothered me with gmod was the strength, or better yet: weakness of the hydraulics and motors.
I am wondering why there never were decent motors and hydraulics within the tools. I know you can make 'decent' hydraulics and motors with e2, but that kinda ruins the point of gmod for me. And I secretly dont like e2. But why weren't they in the default tools? Or even inside wiremod?
In hammer editor you can make hydraulics (func_linear or func_doors) and also motors (func_rotating or func_door_rotating) which are pretty much unstoppable and ignore every weight you throw on them, but why isn't there an easy way to do this in gmod itself?
Everything just feels way too elastic. It's almost impossible to make a strong hydraulic that is able to lift itself or lift a few tons. Of course there are workarounds like using 20 hydraulics simultaneously or applying them to a very heavy plate and then later decreasing the weight etc, or give them way too much length and block the length with an invisible rope so they seem to be stronger. But it never works the way you want, especially if you need multiple target lengths.
And for motors its almost impossible to make low-rpm motor that are strong enough and have decent torgue. I noticed for motors the best way was to overpower the living shit out of them with lots of torgue and weight and then using smoothers and speedometer where it stops giving input when it goes faster than a certain speed, but of course that doesnt work if the motor is mounted to something else that moves.
Maybe we need something like ACF but then for: where you can set the length and thickness of the piston. And ofc colorable. And most importantly: where they ignore the weight. That would be cool.
So yeah, I thought i'd ask or start a discussion about this.

func_linear, func_doors, func_rotating, and func_door_rotating are all brush entities and can't be created dynamically.

Also valve's slider physics are broken.
Well, the stock hydraulic tool is pretty shit.
But you can still use the one in wiremod and then manipulate its properties the way you want.
You don't even need e2 for that.

Yeah brush entity's cant be created ingame, but there could be some sort of alternative. I am just wondering why there never were decent alternatives to the shitty hydraulics and motors. If e2 can do it why not just fix up the tools.

To be quite honest it never really works the way you want. With both gmod and wire hydraulics. I'm curious on how you do this if you claim that it is possible to make it not suck though.
