I don't [I]think[/I] this is advertising as I am not selling anything, recommending anything or listing any websites or IPs. If I am mistaken, I apologize and feel free to remove the thread.
So... A long time ago under a different username I used to make gmod addons and gamemodes. I lost touch with gmod and hadn't played again in years. I recently tried to get back into it. Sometimes I still play it. I now have my own server box and do have a gmod server on it but I haven't done much with it. I tried making a few new gamemodes and noone was interested in them and I have become busy and don't have the time to be a super active admin.
My proposal is this:
I am willing to lend my server (for free) to any community owner out there in need of one. You can have your own gamemode of choice running on it, I just have a few ground rules.
1. No crappy DarkRP server identical to every other one and no claiming it's a "serious rp server" if you wanna install DarkRP. I come from the old days of gmod where serious RP was decent and ran in CW.
2. It's my server at the end of the day. If you are doing something I don't agree with I will ask that it be changed.
My specs:
16 GB RAM
E3-1225v2 Processor
100Mbit/s port
Hosted in France (So great ping to UK and EU)
Anyone interested, feel free to post here or pm me and we can go through details. I want at least a somewhat thought-through plan of what you want to have running. My server is not expensive and I should be able to run it indefinitely (famous last words, eh?).
