PAC has the functionality I'm looking for, but I would prefer it if I could spawn this feature in as part of an advanced dupe instead of having to apply an outfit to several different props every time.
Does anybody know of a tool which allows you to draw a plane within four points which can each individually be manipulated (i.e, welded, parented or moved with the physgun), and allow you to choose which material is drawn inside of said square?
I tried one tool called the 'mesh cloth' tool, but unfortunately it doesn't agree with advanced duplicator 2 or the vanilla duplicator.
Can you reveal your use case?
The description you gave doesn't make sense, since 4 points may not all lie on the same plane. If you're in sandbox, you can probably do this with some E2 magic, but you'll need to describe what should happen if the 4 corners are not all on the same plane.
Then the square would distort its shape. I probably should have made that more clear :P
I want this plane to become part of a cube frame which flexes dynamically, with this plane becoming the sides of the cube. Hopefully this would give the impression that a whole cube is flexing, rather than just the individual rods which make up the frame.

I guess it fits the description. Sort of. There isn't really anything that does what you're asking for. The way it works is by constraining a bunch of points and drawing the planes between them, so it would probably work if you made a 1x1 cloth.
