• Completed CounterStrike gamemode?

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask! Is there a completed GMOD CS Source mode? I found a couple in progress through searches, one was a preview thread for "GMOD PLUS", but there are two GMOD PLUS-es. I want to set up a server with lots of fun stuff. buyable weapons from TF2 and HL2DM, and the ability to buy spawning as an HL2 NPC, or spawning one as a pet, plus stat increase like Warcraft 3 mod, fun things like that. The closest I've found is the TF2 work in progress game mode.
It's almost spring, maybe you could start learning how to code and fulfill your own request by the summer time. That way you can have a sense of accomplishment and self-esteem and stuff.
This would actually be extremely easy to make.
Heh, I could maybe add mods, or do some simple LUA, but my coding skills are nill now, I'm just another insufferable "IDEA GUY"! I'd like to add in editable Buy Menu, or the Buy Messages from mods like War3. Allow the admin to edit the Buy Menu, and allow players to buy game mods and abilities for CS cash. Like buying the MW3 Killstreak mod for 16,000, or buying stat upgrades, weapon mods, NPCs, maybe vehicles etc. The mods would have restricted access, and you'd have to pay cash or experience points for them, instead of spawning them with console commands or gmod. I'd also like to throw in the Physical Bullets mod, and some buyable bullet time powers, fun stuff like that.
Then, do it.

If you don't, it'll turn into a pile of shit.
Why do you want a Counter Strike gamemode? Why not play Counter Strike?

Only physical bullets seems like a nice addition.
Really though, physical bullets would be the worst thing. Balance-wise that is.

Physical bullets have nothing to do with bullet penetration. In fact, they'd probably be the opposite. I'm assuming he's referring to physical bullets as they're commonly called, which means projectiles that actually have to travel distances rather than use hitscan, complete with bullet drop. Why would this destroy balance? Because it'd be a huge nerf for all sniper rifles and a massive buff to shotguns. Throw in latency and it's a recipe for disaster.

However latency, etc would indeed make it a shitstorm. If you really want that shit in a source game, play occupationCS. I thought you meant physical bullets as in all collisions are traced, like in mad cow base.
