This is TnB's new HL2 script. It is a script used for role playing. Includes base gamemode (Gear) required to run on a server. Keep in mind a MySQL server and the mysqloo module is necessary.

Hi Guys.
Just to note this is an older version of our current script. From what I remember, this script is rather buggy and has a lot of errors, unless Milk has some fixes he's applied himself.
Enjoy it, I know we will be when we're finished updating it :).
if you did even the slightest search on here or google, you would know this has been released hundreds of times already, so please take your drama elsewhere
Better close this thread before Kuro comes in and starts advertising his OpenAura/Clockwork bullshit.
this has been released like 200 times, lol
This is really out-dated. If you're looking for a free alternative, I'd recommend Tiramisu. The developers have done a good job at making it free, and yet still have a competetive feature list! There's always OpenAura and the upcoming Clockwork, too, if you have a budget.

Oh I see what you're trying to do now :).

Oh come on guys it ain't some sort of race on which script is better than the other. Tiramisu has it's benefits, and OpenAura/Clockwork have it's benefits too. It's a matter of preference.
After all, both are free, different, but free. You can always try and like either.

This. I've never once came into one of Tiramisu's threads and said a bad word, anything that may have been said was clearly banter. I embrace competition, it's healthy and fun :)

I see what you did at the end, nice going. A little less advertising and a little less purchasing, 'eh? No one is amused.
You know, it's probably a point why TS2 is never used by anyone besides TnB.
This thread probably shows that point. :V.
There is an extremely high concentration of enraged fanboys (or should i say anti-fanboys) in this thread.
If you drop the name "Kuro" or "Conna", people go ape shit. When they have no real reason to.
I don't see why people are so butthurt about Conna selling scripts. He has the ability, he found a market, and he worked it to its fullest. I tip my hat to him.
To people complaining about backdoors, those backdoors are there so when some of his customers decided to illegally distribute his work, he has a way of taking down/attacking/retaliating against illegally owned copies.
I mean seriously, i would do the same thing if i spend HUNDREDS of my hours working on something. The people who are complaining and hating on Conna are nothing but entitled pricks and don't value hard work.
Essentially Kuro is doing this, He sells you (and many others) copies of his gamemode. If one of you decides to illegally distribute his copyrighted material, Kuro has the ability to take down your servers without using legal action. If he really wanted to, (well if he wanted to waste thousands of dollars in legal fees) he could take you and probably the person who gave it to you, to court, and he would win.
Simple as that. He developed a product, and a means or protecting it.
Do people like how he protected it? No, but its really not that different then the thousands of other DRM techniques used by game industries.
TL;DR: 99% of people who hate Conna are entitled pricks who know nothing.
<- Come buy dis sheet. (Or wait till it gets leaked, or if you cba to wait, then do eet.)

Looks like your stupidity is still blatantly obvious.
He's not selling Clockwork.

And you are still his fanboi, get over with it.

You have no idea what you're talking about.
Conna intentionally used a source packet exploit to DDoS servers which were competitive to him. He has no grace in terms of competition in the slightest. What we did better than him, he stole and subsequently attempted to down our servers using the exploit.
I don't need to justify my hate for someone so petty, Remscar. It should be obvious.

I genuinely do not give a fuck whether you believe me or not. I've provided proof to these claims multiple times and I'm done with this bullshit argument. The guy is a dick who profits by selling uninformed children with too much money sub-par gamemodes.

Yes, I did, I don't deny it. I was young and made some dumb and ignorant decisions. However, you cannot say that I have no grace in terms of competition now, when I've clearly been graceful and even supportive of competetion recently. People change, you should stop holding grudges.

I admit you're doing a good thing by releasing your latest gamemode publicly - it's a good choice cause of it's modularity. I don't mind the fact that you're making people pay extra to have their own resources created by you, it's only fair that you should be compensated for taking extra time on a gamemode you consider finished.
I'm done with this debate because it is irrelevant and has been ground to shit.
Does anyone know why chars won't save? Do I miss any dll's?
because you're using the wrong gamemode

No, I'm using the right one, just need to find a way how to fix without messing with the dll functions.
As I said, for some odd reason, the DLL not functions properly with the mysql_data or mysl_main lua file, and it not saves anything at all.
"error loading module 'mysqloo' from file 'e:\games\steam\steamapps\xxxx\garrysmod\garrysmod\lua\includes\modules\gmsv_mysqloo.dll':
The specified module could not be found." Strange

I wouldn't recommend using a leaked script to begin with.
First of all, this specific version of TS2 is really buggy and you will need a good Lua dev to fix it up for you. Secondly, TnB will probably come after your server when they see you running their copy of TS2.
You really want to use TS2 and be legit about it? Then you pretty much have two options:
* Grab the original Rick Dark release and finish the script yourself.
* Find yourself a copy of Waffler's release (that is even buggier than this one), and fix it up.
