NOTICE: Requires "SWEP Bases" [url]http://swep-bases.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/[/url] [/release] Never made a thread for this, but maybe someone will like the weapons, since it already has a couple hundred downloads without any publicity. [b]Short description:[/b] The [b].357 Vortex[/b] is a handheld vortex controller. Placing a vortex will rip open the seams of the third dimension, pulling anything near it into a predestined vacuum, each gun has it's own alternate dimension which it holds entities in, and right clicking clears the dimension, and switches to a new one. The [b]Vexnade[/b] is a portable seam explosive, which tears back open the vortex previously opened, and throws out anything stored within it. The explosive temporarily disrupts gravity within it's blast radius, and also by sheer force of the vortex epicenter, slows down anything near it. I was actually playing around with that, after I finished the main code, and the clipping works. I just didn't port it to the main code here. It makes it seem more like Portal. In fact, looking at this makes it seem like a combination of Portal and Jimmy Neutron's Hypercube.

This looks pretty fun. Why did the video go down?
For two indirect reasons; weapons like this never get attention they deserve, and shit-mass produced packs such as Kermite's will get more publicity, I'm also clearing my page for video work I'll be doing in the near future. I'll be starting a channel with various skits, and am currently in the process of obtaining my equipment to start filming.
Is there anyway to increase the freeze time of the props when they are being manipulated? I'm a total stranger to Lua, and have no idea where I could find that :ohdear:
In addons/Vortex Weaponry/lua/entities/vortex_frag/init.lua, line 143: [lua] self.m_flSequenceDuration = CurTime() + 0.33 [/lua] Change "0.33" to how many seconds you want the "gravity distortion" to stay active.
