Hello, im working on a new perp server for me and my friends. I have the perp mysql file from dramaunlimited. I need to know how to put it in my database on mysql, because the new one confuses me.

alright i got my php working and i put my perp3.sql in it. What now? add Rick hoss on steam
What does PHP have to do with the sql file :V
Get a query browser like HeidiSQL - Connect to your MySQL server, and then execute the sql file.

yea im just bad with this mysql. Im suposed to edit sv.hooks, but im not sure what all to edit in there. ive heard tmysql.initialize("perp3.db.7602667.hostedresource.com","perp3","Gm0dplay","perp3", 3306, 8, 8)
but im not sure where to find all of this at. Please help

Oh, I guess by PHP you mean PHPMyAdmin...
You'll want to find tmysql.initialize in the -gamemode- files, whatever "sv.hooks" file you're talking about. (Probably sv_hooks.lua)
Search around for that.
Yea i got sv_hooks open right now. my problem is editing this data...."perp3.db.7602667.hostedresource.com","perp3","Gm0dplay","perp3"
to my own. I dont know where all of that is listed. Im assuming for me it would be "perp1212.dl.IDKWHATTHIS.db4free.net,"perp3","IDK","IDK"
please guide me in the right direction of finding this stuff.
You'll have to contact whoever is hosting your mysql server for the info you need.
It'll look like "Mysql's Hostname", "Username", "Password", "Database Name"
With the respective information, of course.
I have my perp3.sql on my PHPmyadmin database nmaed perp1212. so it would be db4free.myusername.password.perp1212
is that right?
db4free isn't a valid mysql host name...
mysql host name... would makign a database on mysql be that, or a website

alright now when im connecting to my server it has a mysql error but in my srcds console it says wrong password. but i know that i have the right one.
It actually says Password failed, if that helps any,

Well i mean everyone and their mom does seem to have atleast one leak of a Perp gamemode, its overplayed and over done. Most kids just put them up thinking they can make a quick $$$ but all they get is ddos'd. Anything you get from drama is bound to be broken and halfway unfixable unless you know how a to code. :wink:
