To keep things short and sweet, Library of Guns is going to be a compilation of SWEPs that will run along side my other pack, "The SWEP Pack". The concept remains the same: Compile a metric fuckton of SWEPs into one superpack sorted by manufacturer. The delivery however, is different. Here are the key differences:
- All SWEPS will be hexed, with the models, materials, and scripts better organized to keep things neat and tidy.
- This pack will be largely GDC based. To all those out there who hate GDC - oh well. I like the base. However, a few SWEPS may remain on an alternate base for whatever reason.
- I will try to credit all of the original developers the best I can.
- The packs will be size-limited and independent of one-another. No more 600mb rapidshare uploads.
- Everything will be uploaded to the workshop.
- Less crappy spawn icons. Just for good taste.

What did you do to these sweps besides collecting them?
Did you hex them yourself? Did you make the spawn icons?
Seriously, the last thing we need is people uploading packs of shit. If all the elements of a pack are already in the workshop (or anywhere else), we don't need someone to put it together.
The workshop stresses this by stating that you should only upload your own stuff: http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Workshop/Creating_addons

Avoid uploading packs - unless they're all your work. A pack of your maps is fine. A pack of maps you found that you think are cool is not fine. A pack of your weapons are fine. A pack of cool weapons you downloaded is not fine.
It's not just Garry saying it, here's Valve on it:

TSP was a collection of old gmod SWEP addons that were broke due to the update. So basically it was an attempt to bring the old SWEPs back into gmod. LoG is all freshly hexed by myself and is going to run off of mostly GDC bases that I modified. I also do some reskinning for the SWEPs if I feel it needs it, and new sounds. And yes, all the spawn icons are made by myself.
