The buttons, however, are not the only thing that the test subjects have to look out for, as completing an objective may bring them into the reach of a researcher's latest experiment. Fortunately for the test subjects, the corporation experimenting on them is so hungry for profit that they have set up vendors [I]inside[/I] their holding cell in an attempt to get them to spend their earnings. These vendors sell all sorts of useful things that the test subjects can use to assure their safety (with questionable side effects). The researchers have their own vendors that sell licenses to the latest in "lab equipment" and experimental devices. It's about time we had a original gamemode, but I don't necessarily understand the point of it.

Original gamemode, finally.
Someone asked me about mapping for this gamemode and so I've posted a guide [URL="http://tallcorporation.co.cc/projects/science/mapping.html"]here[/URL]. EDIT: Devices and their related menus / store page are now functional and so I'll set up another test run up sometime tomorrow.
Much progress has been made and so the gamemode is ready for another test. There's currently a server running, link in OP. EDIT: That'll be all for today.
This gamemode sounds most interesting to say the least. It sounds unique. I look forward to trying it. EDIT: After playing the gamemode, I feel that it was very fun. Seems like it would really take off with 8+ players. Hopefully we can see a more populated test in the future.

Wiremod: Gamemode edition. Actually, this looks really cool.
Added some more devices, a "/ready" command for the science team, and fixed some issues.
This looks great. I'll be sure to give it a try sometime.
Starting to get some progress on the items thing for test subjects, although none of that is visible at the moment.
Does the /ready command work like, everyone on the team has to read up? Because this could be easily mingeable.
It's just in case everyone is done and doesn't want to wait out the rest of the two minutes of build time.
Ah. So the round will start at a certain time anyway? The /ready is just so they can start it sooner?

I haven't gotten a lot of time to work on this recently, but lots of progress was made today. [code][b]Update[/b] - added the test subjects' vendor - added items, this means test subjects now have a use for the money they get and a way to defend themselves - added three items: watermelon, health vial, EMP grenade - new players now start with a watermelon - exciting backend changes[/code]
